Hello and I welcome you to my practice!
I believe a key step in finding success and inner peace begins with change. Change can be difficult, I am here to support you in embracing change and finding your true and authentic self. I wish to help you seek self-love, discover things about yourself that you may not have been aware of and find your inner strength.
I would be honored to have the opportunity to work with you. Please feel free to reach out to me to schedule a complimentary twenty minute consultation to see if I would be the right fit for your therapeutic needs.
In my spare time I enjoy spending time with family, listening to podcasts, traveling and enjoying new adventures that life has to offer.
I am a licensed independent clinical social worker and I am licensed in the state of Washington and in Oregon. Part of what brought me into the field of social work was losing my mother at the age of six to breast cancer. I had many people that surrounded me with their love including relatives, counselors, teachers and many others in my community. If I had not had those invaluable supports, I am not sure where I would be today. I wanted to pay that forward to others struggling and spread the message of hope in the darkest of times.
I have always been interested in the field of human behavior. I grew up with a close friend who struggled with bipolar disorder and tried my best to support and understand that friend in any way that I could. I knew with the proper support, treatment and medication, my friend could live a fulfilling life despite being faced with a serious mental illness.
Another important part of my work is service and providing service to others. Learning about the importance of service and giving back to others through the course of my undergraduate education led me to a career in social work. I believe that everyone is of value and worth. I believe in passing along the skills that I have learned to others.
